Brown Ale

Apperance: The beer is dark, coppery, amber, has a very thick and compact off-white head, leaving good lacing. Rather small curtains. (4)
Aroma: The smell is very much from the malt, as should be, honey, nuts, grain and some ripe pears. (3.5)
Taste: The taste is sweet brown bread, porridge with honey and red apples. (4)
Palate: Medium carbonation, small bubbles, soft and pleasant, a good body and a slightly dry finish. (4)
Overall: A very nice, very malty brown ale. Stallhagen is btw in Ã…land. (4.5)
