Apperance: The beer is dark brown, seems clear, has a small off-white head leaving little lacing and small curtains. (3)
Aroma: Some smoke and wood smells, ground dark coffee and a sweet vanilla touch. Some dried yellow peas as well. (3.5)
Taste: Sweet dark sugar, ground coffee, dark chocolate and vanilla with lemon peel. (3.5)
Palate: Low carbonation, slightly sticky, a short rather sharp bitterness. (3)
Overall: Not bad, but a bit heavy on the roasted malt. Could it improve by storage me thinks. (3)
