Apperance: The brew is black, with a firm tan head that leaves good lacing and good curtains. (4)
Aroma: A dry smoky smell, some sour fruit nuances, a dash of coffee beans. (3.5)
Flavor: A slightly sweet taste, burned bread crust, fresh unripe dates, lemon peel, dark cocoa beans. (4)
Palate: Medium carbonation, small bubbles, fresh feeling with a dry finish. (4)
Overall: A nice straight stout, a bit acid though. (4)
