Winter Porter

Apperance: This beer is black, with ruby tones, the head is tan colored, leaves much lacing, and has good curtains. (4)
Aroma: The smell is roasted grains, coffee, sweet dried fruits with a vanilla backbone and a peppery spiciness. (4.5)
Taste: The taste starts sweet, dark bread, vanilla toffee, brown sugar, dried fruits, raisins, dates, figs, and lemon zest. Then a warm chili spiciness. (4)
Palate: Low carbonation, smooth and slick, a good body, a nice end as well, warm, dry and lasting. (4.5)
Overall: I like it, even better than the origin. (4.5)
