Apperance: This beer, which is dark amber orange and clear, has a thick off-white foam that leaves lots of lacing. (4) Aroma: The smell is full of floral and citric hops, some malty sweetness as well. (4.5) Taste: Taste is dominated by the hops, lots of fruit and flowers, some sweet dried fruits. The rather high alcohol content is fully covered by the bitterness. (4.5) Palate: A good carbonation gives a fresh, yet creamy mouth feel. (4.5) Overall: This beer is truly dominated by hops, much more in the typical american DIPA style than in a barley wine. That does not make it a worse beer! Rather one of the better IMHO ... (4.5)
