Apperance: The beer is clear dark amber, small bubbles, an off-white rather dense head that settles rather quickly, little lacing and small curtains. (3)
Aroma: Smelling of sweet caramel malt, raisins, oatmeal porridge with syrup. A hint of cardboard. (3)
Taste: Sweet upfront, brown bread, raisins, oranges, some chemical acidity and a slight but quickly vanishing bitterness. (2.5)
Palate: Little carbonation, small bubbles, thin and watery, a slightly dry finish. (2)
Overall: It's hard to do tasty Vienna lagers at 3.5%, and this is no exception. (2.5)
