Apperance: A brown clouded beer with a tan head that leaves little lacing, good curtains though. (4)
Aroma: Much malt in the smell, sweet bread, nuts, hard bread, a bit dusty. (3.5)
Taste: The taste starts sweet and malty, brown bread with honey, then a long spicy feeling. (4)
Palate: Little carbonation, soft and smooth texture that turns into a slightly dry and burning finish. (4)
Overall: A well balanced, good spiced beer, the rye and pepper goes well together. (4)
