Høst Stout

Apperance: The beer is dark, dark brown or maybe black, a dark tan head which settles slowly and leaves loads of lacing. Rather small curtains. (3.5)
Aroma: Much roasted malt; dry dark fruits, cold coffee, burned crust, soy sauce. (3.5)
Taste: Starting with caramelized sugar, burned toast, bitter chocolate and dark coffee beans. Slightly sour dried figs. (3)
Palate: High carbonation, small foamy bubbles, a sticky texture, rather big body and a dry finish. (3.5)
Overall: A bit overpowering sour- and bitter-ness for being a milk stout. This was the Høst Stout version. (3)
