Apperance: A dark, nay black beer, a tan head that settles rather quickly leaving little lacing and curtains. (3.5)
Aroma: Typical dark fruit smells, dark malt, toast and nuts. (3.5)
Taste: The taste is sweet, candy sugar, dried dates, chocolate and coffee. (3.5)
Palate: Little carbonation, rather fresh feeling, a coarse dry finish. (3.5)
Overall: Has a lot of acidity and bitterness, but is well balanced, in all a good beer. (4)
