Carnegie Special 175th Anniversary Porter

Apperance: The brew is dark brown, almost black with ruby nuances, a tan small head with little lacing but good curtains. (3.5)
Aroma: Smelling of sweet vanilla sugar, some almond and bourbon nuances, a good measure of oak cask. (4)
Taste: The taste has the sweet vanilla, some butter notes and a raw oak bitterness, slightly alcoholic. (3.5)
Palate: Little carbonation, soft but slightly watery. (4)
Overall: Feels rather young, save it to at least the 180th anniversary. (4)
